Welcome to

 The Kent House of Chester

Congratulations on your engagement! We appreciate your consideration of our Wedding Weekend Venue. At the Kent House of Chester we provide exceptional service and a personal touch to help you have the wedding weekend of your dreams. The Kent House was built in 1799 and is one of the beautiful historic homes here in Chester, New Hampshire. Built by Amos Kent, it is the birthplace of Miss Abigail Kent, the official hostess of the Franklin Pierce White House. All five beautifully appointed bedrooms are named after hostesses for the White House not married to the President.

Location

Chester, a quiet, picturesque New England village community nestled among others and just fifteen minutes from the outskirts of our largest city of Manchester

Our Grounds

Our expansive estate is masterfully landscaped with seasonal flowers, planters cascading the expansive deck and patio, and musical fountains. We combine the elegant splendor of nature in the natural setting of our wedding venue in Chester with several amenities and coordination to provide the wedding party and guests a memorable event.

Our Tented Affairs

Our weddings begin mid May until mid October. We work with local professionals and artisans to offer services that will surely keep your guests talking about your weekend for many years to come!
